We were instructed to acquire a fully completed residential block on behalf of a corporate PRS buyer seeking immediate income-producing assets in Greater Manchester. The brief was clear: a ready-to-operate investment, no works required, strong underlying demand, and a location that would attract good tenants from day one.
The Detail
The Ellesmere is a newly built block of ten high-specification apartments in Walkden, Worsley – a mix of one, two and three-bedroom units well-suited to commuter tenants given its proximity to Manchester city centre. Allocated parking, quality specification, and strong rental demand made it a natural fit for the client’s requirements.
We managed the process from appraisal through to acquisition, ensuring the asset met both the operational and investment criteria before proceeding.
The Outcome
The client acquired a fully operational asset generating rental income from day one, with no need for refurbishment or repositioning. A high-quality addition to an existing portfolio, in a location with long-term appeal.
