Heart of Padel is our own leisure business – and one of the most personal projects in the Mortimer Group portfolio. Based in Radcliffe, our home town, it represents our belief that investment should do more than generate a return. It should contribute something to the place it’s in.
Padel is one of the fastest growing participation sports in the world. Heart of Padel was created to bring that growth home – making the sport accessible to players of all ages and abilities in Greater Manchester.
The Detail
The venue features five purpose-built padel courts alongside a clubhouse designed as a welcoming social space for members, casual players, and the wider community. The facility supports casual play, structured coaching programmes, and junior development pathways – ensuring the sport is accessible from the ground up.
Unlike our tenanted assets, Heart of Padel is owner-operated. That means we’re not just the landlord – we’re responsible for the experience, the community, and the long-term success of the club.
